Portraits of Derrick Norman Lehmer (1867 - 1938)
Derrick Norman Lehmer was my great-grandfather, father of Derrick Henry Lehmer. Both Derrick N. Lehmer and Derrick H. Lehmer were professors of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. These are early portraits of Derrick Norman, covering mostly the period from his teenage years through college.

- On the Clear Creek near Arvada, Wyoming, c. 1894 while working for the railroads as a surveyor.
- This picture is entitled "On the way to Germany, 1911." Perhaps traveling to a conference. The other gentlemen in the picture are not identified.
